Knowcross

Founded in 2001, Knowcross develops next-generation technology solutions for the hospitality industry. TRITON is the company's first product suite and embodies the company's core philosophies- practical, powerful, easy-to-use and cost-effective to deploy.

Today, the TRITON product suite is a client-server application. In the near future, Knowcross will release a hosted version of this application and provide it on 'Software as a Service' (SaaS) model to customers in certain markets. The SaaS model is rapidly becoming a success story for a number of products and their users. Knowcross uses both Microsoft and Open Source development platforms and tools to deliver its products.

Knowcross was founded by Nikhil Nath who was earlier a venture capitalist and a strategy consultant and worked at Goldman Sachs and Monitor Company in Europe and Asia. Knowcross' shareholders are a mix of well known technology investors and hoteliers. They include people such as Raman Roy (Chairman, Quattro BPO Solutions and erstwhile founder of Wipro-Spectramind, one of India's leading outsourcing companies), Saurabh Srivastava (Chairman, Infinity Capital and Past Chairman of NASSCOM, the Indian software industry association), Alok Mittal (India head, Canaan partners, a leading California based Venture Capital fund) and Mohit Goyal (Co-founder and Director of IIS Infotech and Scicom Technologies). Knowcross' Board of advisors includes industry veterans such as Gebhard Rainer (Hyatt International) and Vikram Oberoi (East India Hotels).
